Christmas time and I am busy, busy, busy. Between my Etsy store, craft fair, family, work, and Christmas gifts I'm making. I don't know when I find the time to breathe. I love creating. I will take some relaxation time once Christmas is all done.

Fall is in the air

well it's starting to get a little chillier here. I love the smell of the fresh crisp air. I love the fact that I live in a place where the leaves change color. I will have to post pictures of the trees this fall. Maine has some beautiful color. I guess I better stock up on some hot cocoa.

Fall is my favorite season but it is also kinda sad. That means that this year is soon over and a new one begins.

Halloween

Halloween is coming. It seems it comes faster every year. I have always complained about how the stores seem to jump the Holidays ahead. I find myself jumping on the band wagon so to speak.

Sports

I just love making these earrings. I started with my baseball earrings. That led to the football, soccer, and basketball. I'm updating this on my son's computer so I don't have all the pictures.

To confess I didn't like sports at school. I didn't give them a chance. I was determined not to like them because everyone else seemed to. I was a bit rebellious. I started watching baseball with my fiance in 2004. I have been hooked ever since. I am a Red Sox fan. I joke with him that it is i who brought the luck to them that year.

Procrastination ....a blog giveaway

Do you ever find yourself putting things off. I do. I think I am lucky that I always seem to get them done before it's too late. Giving something away has been on my list of procrastinations.


Things to procrastinate about:

3. telling myself to get off the computer and get something done

7. exercising....that one never seems to get done :)

Are we ever going to have warm weather?

It is rainy and cold here for days. I wonder if we are ever going to get a beautiful sunny summer day. Today is the first day of summer. Doesn't feel like it.

Red Sox game is tied right now. I always hate that. It's nail biting time. I don't like doing that.

I am unpacking from the crop yesterday. I only got a chance to make 4 cards and 2 board books. I spent a lot of that time eating and chatting. I do tend to talk a lot.

busy, busy, busy

Tomorrow will be the last day of work until summer school. I am excited to have a break. That doesn't mean that I will be relaxing. I will be creating new things. The boys and I will take some days to go fishing and just hang out. I will take some time to be with friends and scrapbook. I will also take some time to make new craft creations for Etsy. I will also be helping at a friends consignment shop. Not sure when I'll have the time to fit this all in my summer plans. Life is busy. Life is wonderful.

Beautiful day

It was a beautiful day here today. I can't believe we only have 6 1/2 days of school left. Then it is summer vacation!! I am working summer school this year but it isn't long. Only 4 hours a day for 16 days. I can handle that.

Hopefully I have time to bring the boys fishing. Nathan loves doing that.

Hope the weekend is beautiful. I do need to get a lot of things around the house done. I need to stop putting it all off.

World Of Warcraft troubles

Well this weekend Nate had his account hacked and stolen. I had just started up automatic payments with Paypal too. I stopped the payments. Luckinly they didn't try to get more money out of it. His cousin saw his character online last night. He told the person to give the character back or he was going to report him. They gave it back. I have already changed the password for him. Hopefully it is a harder one to figure out.

Some people just don't care about others feelings. It amazes me when I see these things in the world. Whatever happened to do unto others. I think this person will end up having bad things happen to them if they stay on this path. Lots of times in life you get back what you have done to others. People should just be nice to each other. Is that asking too much these days?

Relaxing Friday night

Well we just ordered out from the local pizza place. Now we are going to sit and watch the Red Sox. Too bad pappi is doing so bad. It is nice to finally see my favorite player doing so well. Go Varitek!!!!!

It is raining and miserable outside right now. Curling up with a blanket and fries sounds so good. Maybe I will stay up after the sox to watch a good scary movie...or Twilight. I can't decide yet.

Rain, rain go away...

Well it has been raining here all day. I have made 2 necklaces today for ladies at work. Pork chops for dinner. It is so nice to have a man that does the dishes. He doesn't always. He did tonight. It feels so good to have nothing to do tonight.

Right now that wonderful man is helping my son with his math homework. I am glad. Sometimes Howard and I get a bit frustrated doing his homework.

Watching NCIS. I think I might turn in early tonight and read some more of Twilight. I am such a movie person. I enjoyed the movie so much. I watched it over a dozen times so far. I wanted more so now I'm reading the book. Well I am when I get the time to. I am not that far into the book yet. I will read the others after I watch the movies.

Well I guess I didn't get off so easy. Howie is here for me to finish the math with him. Dividing fractions what fun.

Clay creations

I have been having a blast creating with polymer clay. I have made a whole bunch of charms. Donuts, bacon, eggs, green eggs and ham, apples, cream filled cookies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, peanut butter and fluff sandwiches. I have lots more ideas in my head too. I did make pancakes for myself. Just haven't produced more yet. I had an order for the bacon and egg ones.

Well it's getting late. I still need to get the rabbit cage cleaned up and put them away before I go to bed. I am soooo tired.

Well I am off to the Creating Keepsakes convention. It was a blast last year. Can't wait to see what I learn this year. I will be back with some cool things from classes to show off.

Apples

I mad some cute apple charms for earrings tonight. I'm giving a set to a student teacher who has her last day tomorrow. While I was making hers I thought why not more. I made 16 regular apples and 2 experimental caramel apples. The caramel turned out better than I thought.

Well it's not for me.

I never did get those cards on here did I. Well it has been a fun vacation. It is over now. Back to work tomorrow. There are only 35 more days of school not counting weekends.

I'm back

I am back. I had so much fun at my friends house. I didn't do any scrapbook pages. I am trying to get ready for some upcoming craft fairs. It was more like a stamping party. We were all sharing stamps and just creating a huge pile of stamped images for all of us to use on future cards. Thanks so much to my friends for sharing. Such nice people.

I made 24 cards. I will post some pictures later tonight.

Going away

Well I'll only be gone a coupe days. I will be near a computer but don't know if I'll touch it.

I will be staying with a friend for a couple nights. We will be scrap booking. I might just choose to catch up on some of my other crafts too. Craft fair season starting up for me soon. I do need to get some of my scrap booking done. I haven't done that in weeks. Well we'll see whatever I'm in the mood for.

I also brought my travel DVD player because I might want to watch Twilight again when I go to bed. Thanks to my son for getting me hooked on that.

The boys are gone for a few days. Fishing trip with my brother. I hope he is taking pictures for me.

I'm back and I'm on Etsy

Well I have been away for far too long. I have been busy crafting, teaching, and taking care of my busy boys. I have just taken the plunge and jumped into Etsy. I am so excited. Now I just need to take a day to take some more pictures of items I plan to list.

I will be listing new items often. I can only do a few a day. I am going to be posting here whenever I do that.

snow snow and more snow

Well it looks like we have 3 feet out there today. Probably more like 2 but the drifts are awful. Howie and Nate just went out to shovel. I will probably join them in a few. I am surprised that Howie could stop playing world of warcraft long enough to do anything else. It seems like I never get near my computer anymore. I borrowed Nate's laptop while Howie was on mine. Well at least we got an extra day of vacation. Just sucks to have to shovel all of it.
