Craft Fair Saturday Dec. 8th

I'm going to have a table at the Canaan Elementary craft fair tomorrow. I will have items from both my shops there. There will be 50 crafters/vendors that will be there. Admission is $1 at the door. Great to find a unique gift for Christmas.

Craft Fair This Weekend

I will have items from both my shops at a craft fair this weekend. Hours are 9 am. until 2 pm. Address is ....Bloomfield Elementary School, 140 Academy Circle, Skowhegan, ME

 Come and join us as the tradition continues at the Bloomfield Annual Holiday Craft Fair and shop from over 20 different craft vendors from around the state of Maine.

Skowhegan Nursery School will be there selling hot and cold food and drinks.

There will be holiday musical entertainment provided by the 3-4 grade students from Bloomfield Elementary School from 10:00am-11:00am, students from Bloomfield Middle School from 11:00am-12:00pm and from the choir students from Skowhegan High School from 12:00pm-1:

00pm.

The Bloomfield PTO will also be selling raffle tickets for a catered holiday dinner for 8-10 people provided by Kel-Mat Cafe. Raffle tickets will be $1.00 each or 11 tickets for $10.00.

Entry into this event is free. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Busy...Busy..Busy

Well school season being here again I have been busy with work as well as my shops. I also started couponing in late January. That keeps me extra busy. Trying to keep up with all the extra deals and coupon clipping. Thank god Wayne helps with the clipping.

Last Saturday I took a little me time and spent a day with friends scrapbooking. I managed to make myself 6 pages in a few hours. It was nice to get back into it. Now I feel refreshed and ready to start creating again. I sometimes wish the ideas in my head would slow down to keep better pace with the time I actually have to do them in.

The next few days I will spend packaging and mailing. Then I will have time to start listing things again. Oh, and I cannot forget I promised my son I would make him a chicken pot pie for dinner sometime this week.

I have had to go up on my shipping costs. I have not gone up the last 2 times the Post Office has.  I had been taking some of the shipping and packaging costs from the cost of the item I have sold.  I have recalculated my shipping and have had to go up to match the actual shipping and packaging costs.

Packaging and my week

Packing up orders for Maryland, Texas and Australia right now. Then I will be working on getting my nails pretty again. I switched to doing my own Acrylic nails years ago. I do them for a while then get tired and go without them for a while. It is always interesting to work with them the first week they are on. Like learning to do things all over again. Tweezers have become my best friend when I have long nails.

Tomorrow meeting up with some friends. Friday going school shopping with the boys. Cutting it a little close. School starts next week. I go back on Monday and the boys go back on Wednesday. Where did the summer go?

I was hoping to play a little bit this week on a scrapbook page or two of my own. Well there is always tomorrow night. I think I need to take at least a day a week for me.

To my list of hobbies and things I do I have added coupon blogging. I do enjoy it. I just wonder how I can juggle it all. Some days very good at juggling. Other days not so much. But, I am human after all. There is no such thing as super woman. We shouldn't try to live up to being perfect. It creates so much stress.

Face Lift

I have just given this blog a  must needed face lift. Now it is more my style and less cluttered. It might still look cluttered to some but I did get rid of a lot of the side bars. Too much blinkie stuff for my taste. It seems to be running better for me too. Now posting should be easier.

The summer is fast coming to a close. I got to relax a bit, spend time with family and friends. I didn't get as much done as I did last summer. Wayne and I did go on a much needed vacation to Boothbay harbor. Also did our yearly camping trip for Howard's Birthday. Think I will take this last week off and try to get some things accomplished while also maybe fitting in some scrap booking for me. Tomorrow will be my play day :)

Need Update Badly

Wow I need to update this blog badly. I thought it would be easier to do with the phone. Then I found out my phone is a little slow. Can't wait unlit Monday when I get my new phone. Maybe then I can update this a little easier.
I Have been busy with work,family, cleaning, creating and my new addiction coupons. Wow it is a lot to fit into a day. Glad this is school vacation. I hope to get some major cleaning done around the house. Then get some new things listed to the shops. I made a lot of new paper piecings yesterday for my paper shop. Can't wait to add them.
