I'm going away

I haven't been around much lately. Waynes son got married a couple weeks ago. I also have been getting ready for a crop week that I am going to. I have been helping a friend get ready for it. I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow. I would already be there. I am going to be with some old friends. Along with meetine some cyber friends for the first time. I am so excited.

Wayne was so helpfull. He made the coffee bars, 2 apple pies, molasses cookies. He even mixed the dry bisciut ingredients. He cooked and picked the chicken too. These are some of the goodies I am bringing.

My sister had a lwansale last weekend. She let me bring my stuff there and she sold some for me while I was helping my friend. She sold 29$ for me. It didn't cost a thing to bring it I was on my way through there anyway.

I hope to have lots of projects done to show off here after the crop.

Etsy wanna be and my creations

I have been busy the last few days researching a place called Etsy. A lot of people probably already know of it. For those that don't it's a place to sell handmade items. I think i want to take the plunge and do it. I had always wanted to do E Bay but never tried. Etsy looks so much easier to understand.

So here are a few more things I have made

A pair of earrings I made

A bracelet

A knit washcloth or dishcloth

Cell phone charms

I made several ribbon necklaces. This one sold at the last craft fair.

busy week

First is a picture from last Saturday. My nephews first birthday. He had a Dale Earndhart cake. Hence the black and red frosting colors...LOL

Then there is my Borthday boy. His party was last Sunday. He is now officially a teen.....

The boys got to meet their great grandmother for the first time. She lives out of state. She is 87. She has so much energy. I hope I am as good as her when I get to her age. She is helping Nathan pick Blackberries.

Here is a Halloween card I made a while ago. I got the faces from Mooseberry Graphics. He has some cute stuff there.

Finally here is one of the scarves I knitted. Well I cheated a little. I used my knifty knitter to do it.

Some crafty stuff and a beautiful rainbow

Well I haven't been on the computer much lately. It seems when I do i end up being on here for hours. I have been trying to spend more time in the real world lately...hahahaha.

Here is a card I made. I love that stamp of the statue of liberty. I found it a while ago at my Mardens for .99.

A beautiful picture of a perfect rainbow near my house a week ago. I was so close I couldn't get a good picture of it all but it was a perfect arc. It was double but that doesn't show too well in the photo.

An 8x8 layout of myself.

Also a couple soaps I made. I made the shaped soaps first. I stole my chocolate molds for my soap making. Then I put them in the bigger molds and pour the clear scented soap over them.

Here are a few layouts I have done for challenges on a scrapping site.
Right now I am working on crochet towel tops. A friend showed me how to make one. I took notes. Now I am trying it on my own. The first few will be for family. Then I hope to make some for my craft fairs.

Excited about movies

I am so excited. I just saw the movies they are having at the drive in this week. Last year we went a lot. This year we haven't had the chance yet. I am so not going to pass up this opportunity. The drive in is like $6 for me and the boys are free. They also show 2 movies for that price. Can't pass that up. We load up with snacks and drinks from home. The boys and I just love it. They are showing......WALL E

The chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspien.

An Altered picture frame

It is a much cooler day here today. We are supposed to be getting thunder storms sometime today and tomorrow.
Here is an altered picture frame I have made. I used a frame I got at the dollar store. DCWV paper. I sanded all the edges. Blossoms, buttons, and a fabric label that says forever.
